I removed a few viruses from a client computer and noticed an error explaining the profile storage space has been exceeded and some things need to be removed before shutting down.
To fix the error, create a text file and place the following in the file:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
"EnableProfileQuota"=-
"ProfileQuotaMessage"=-
"MaxProfileSize"=-
"IncludeRegInProQuota"=-
"WarnUser"=-
"WarnUserTimeout"=-
You can save as...put fix.reg in the file name box, set the type box to all files, set the encoding box to ANSI or save then rename the file something like fix.reg (making sure that Windows is not hiding the extensions for known file types).
Original fix came from http://www.techsupportforum.com/microsoft-support/windows-xp-support/375791-solved-profile-storage-space-exceeded.html
