- Purchase a new set of cartridges
- Install the new cartridges
- Hit OK + Cancel + Black + Color buttons and turn off the printer (requires some manual dexterity). Keep holding the buttons until the machine turns off and back on.
- Turn the printer off again
- Walk through the initial setup screens again
- Run a test print if needed.
Note that all the documents in the queue will start printing off. If you printed a bunch of items that you don't want you might clear the queue before performing the above steps.
Also, at least one of the resets that I did required physically unplugging the printer before the power would cycle.
