My day started off a bit blah but ended up fun.
I needed to work on a number of laptops and desktops before tomorrow. I was not looking forward to the number of computers I needed to work through but some weekends require the extra effort.
As I also committed to help pack for the family camping trip, I loaded up the computers and brought them to the in-laws house. I figured I could work back and forth while waiting for updates and installs.
I brought my 4-port USB KVM, my 12-port network switch, monitor, keyboard, mouse, backup drives, network cables, and various other parts. After setting up the three desktops and a couple of laptops, I realized there was no network connection where I'd set up. I took my laptop out, plugged in a network cable, and bridged the wireless connection to the wired one.
The fun part (for me, you might have found yourself wondering why you started reading this) was knowing how to bridge the connections and take care of the roadblock. While many challenges have me pulling my hair out, when I end up solving the problems the sense of accomplishment makes it worth the effort.
