Video Signal Not Recognized

While this is only loosely related to IT work, I found the information useful so I thought I'd pass it on.

I have an Acer monitor with DVI and VGA inputs. My PC is hooked to the digital port and my 360 has a VGA cable hooked to the analog port. I made the mistake of changing the resolution of my 360 outside the range of the monitor. As I keep the console in my home IT closet, I did not have an easy way of hooking another video device to the unit.

As I began to search for other methods, I found a blurb on Microsoft's site that talked about how to reset the video. Basically, turn off the console, turn on the console while holding Y and the right trigger. The console will reset and the video settings should be back to default.
