Editing a PDF on a Mac

I love this quick little tool for adding text to a PDF document on a Mac. I've gotten into this aversion to printing and storing documents so I enjoy tools that allow me to process a document, fill in a form or generally avoid the need to print and store more paper. While not a replacement for a full PDF editor like Adobe, FormulatePro allows you to fill out PDF forms and save the output in minutes.

FormulatePro contains a simple interface allowing for adding a text box (T), a check mark, a couple of shapes and a drawing tool.

Just open a PDF you want to fill- in, click the T, and click your mouse on the point you want to start typing.

Once you finish, select print, then drop down the PDF button to export the edited PDF document.

FormulatePro lacks advanced editing features but maintains simple tools for quickly editing a PDF form. Best of all, FormulatePro's GNU license allows for free use.

You can fill the text fields, add a variety of checkmarks, digitally sign the form and even add pictures. After your pdf form is completed, it can be printed, emailed, faxed or saved on your computer. You can even send fillable pdf forms to your customers, employees, vendors and partners.
